How Does Erdafitinib Work?

Erdafitinib blocks fibroblast growth factor receptors, particularly abnormal FGFR activity in certain cancer cells. These receptors can continuously send signals that promote uncontrolled cell growth. Blocking them slows the growth and spread of FGFR-altered tumours.
